Vinegar

Vinegar made from non-wine sources (grain, apple, rice); halal.

Why?

Most common vinegars — distilled/white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, and rice vinegar — are fermented from grain alcohol, apples, or rice rather than wine, and the fermentation converts any alcohol into acetic acid. These are considered halal without the additional debate that applies specifically to wine vinegar.
