An animal-derived digestive enzyme; halal status depends on the source animal.
Why?
Pancreatin is a mixture of digestive enzymes extracted from the pancreas of pigs or cattle, used in some dietary supplements and specialty cheese production. It is haram if pork-derived and halal only if from a halal-slaughtered animal; treated as doubtful when the source isn't specified.
