Collagen

An animal protein similar to gelatin; halal status depends on the source animal.

Why?

Collagen (including collagen peptides sold as supplements) is extracted from animal skin, bone, and connective tissue, most often from cattle, pigs, or fish — the same raw materials used for gelatin. Its halal status follows the same rule: halal from fish or halal-slaughtered cattle, haram from pork, and doubtful if the source isn't disclosed.
