Caesar Dressing
Also known as: Caesar Salad Dressing
A compound sauce that often includes anchovies, Worcestershire sauce, and sometimes wine vinegar or alcohol.
Why?
Traditional Caesar dressing is made from anchovies (halal, as fish), garlic, egg, cheese, and often Worcestershire sauce — which itself carries some sourcing variability. Some recipes also add wine vinegar or a small amount of wine. Because recipes vary widely between restaurants and brands, Caesar dressing is treated as doubtful unless a specific product's ingredients are confirmed.
